The Bulls have all but been written off for their encounter against the Crusaders this weekend, while there is some hope for the black and white dynamites to come good against the Reds in Brisbane.

2012 Super Rugby season a success?

So we were left with the last round of the 2012 Super Rugby season to see who the Top 6 would be! The top 2 were basically already established, with the Crusaders also confirmed as finalists, but the Hurricanes, Brumbies, Reds, Bulls and Sharks all had chances to make the finals.

And up to the last game of the last weekend, the final spots have not yet been confirmed.

The Stormers fans are left feeling unsatisfied yet again while their side just seems unable to score tries. Yes, the bring home the bacon by winning every match, except the Crusaders, where ironically they outscored the Saders by 2 tries to 1, but there is a growing concern that the Stormers attack is seemingly impotent.

“Oh no! No Rions!!

So, it’s been just about confirmed. The Lions and Cheetahs are not just playing for pride anymore this year, they are playing for survival. SARU has all bu t confirmed that only the top 4 finishers on the log will go through to next year’s Super Rugby tournament, while someone will be left out. The Cheetahs are currently placed 11th on the overall log with 4 wins under the belt, while the Lions are 14th on the log with only 1 victory, over the Cheetahs nogal, under the belt.
